Learn Inn EKPA

The LEARN Inn EKPA* group consists of scientists of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens who are experts in the field of Pedagogy and Education. They are academically responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of the courses. We collaborate with scientists and experts from various related fields, whose role in the educational courses for adults and educational programs for Primary and High school students we offer, is to teach, empower and conduct workshops based on experiential learning.

The Scientific Supervisor of LEARN Inn EKPA is Assistant Professor Marios Koukounaras Liagkis, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

OUR AIM

Our aim is to promote applied pedagogy, educational innovation and in-depth training and education of both adults during the E- learning and Face to Face educational courses of the Center of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as the students of Primary and Secondary Education who participate in the Educational programmes that are offered in the premises of the University or in the school units.

Marios Koukounaras Liagkis

Scientific Supervisor

I studied Theology (ΒΑ, ΜΑ, PhD) Greek Literature (BA), and Social Pedagogy (PostDoc). I am an Assistant Professor of Religious Education at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). I worked as a Religious Education teacher and as a Consultant to the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs. My research interests focus on Religious Education (learning and teaching), Curriculum, Teacher’s professional development, Human Rights, Inclusive Education and Drama/Theatre in Education. My publications include 8 books and numerus articles. I am currently working as a coordinator on an Erasmus+ (KA2) project on the teaching of Competencies of Democratic Culture, as director of a Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Entity of the NKUA, as an expert in the RE Curriculum development (Institute of Educational Policy) and as a project trainer and expert in ‘School for all’-Integration of refugee children in Greek Schools (Wergeland Centre and Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs)
